Seduction Poem

To the USA I want to go,

please let me explain before you say no.

Better english skills I want to learn,

and life experience and indedependence I will earn.

New friends and relationships will appear,

and by leaving them I might drop a tear.

I will appreciate what I have at home,

after leaving for one year on my own.

Life in America I want to see,

it could be a surprise for me.

I’m sure it will open my mind,

because to the rest of the world I feel blind.

You know you’re the best mom and dad,

and of course when I go you will be sad,

but it will open me a new door,

please say yes so I don’t need to beg anymore.

You’re my family I will never forget,

and I promise this decision you won’t regret.

It won’t make me love you less,

please, please, please say yes!

Rejection

My dear you need to understand,

That this decision is in my hand,

We don’t want you to go away,

how many times will I have to say?

Despite being a little too expensive,

One year experience is very intensive,

And the house wont be the same,

With you in Florida, Missouri or Maine.

You might see yourself as a big lady,

But For us you are still our baby,

Going to live with someone we don’t know,

Seems to make our worries grow.

Lots of new things you will see

But do you know how homesick you might be

Maybe you just want to come home

So do you really want to leave alone?
